About me

My name is Ann-Sophie Dewaele and I am a Creative Generalist. I studied Digital Arts and Entertainment in Kortrijk, Belgium. Here, I learned everything about 2D and 3D games, not just art, but also a little bit of programming. In other words, I know my way around a variety of software, including Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and Dreamweaver. I also know Zbrush, Unity, UDK and the new Unreal Engine. And as for programming languages: the basics of C++, C#, VB, Flash Actionscript, Kismet and some Maxscript.

I love creating art, especially when it all comes together as a whole. And as long as I keep learning new things or have a chance to be creative, I’ll continue loving it. Working in a team, big or small, doesn’t matter, since I believe it’s the only way to keep myself challenged. But since I’m constantly looking for ways to improve my skill-set I also like doing smaller projects on my own.

Addmiditly, I’m a bit of a movie addict, especially when films are created by people like Michel Gondry, Terry Gilliam or Jean-Pierre Jeunet. I also enjoy reading a decent book and writing stories myself.
